Emotional Development

Personal, Social and Emotional development.
Through everyday activities we encourage the children’s personal, social and emotional development. Games and role-play, for example, help us to develop and maintain co-operative behaviour, such as learning to share, working in a group, and taking turns.
We encourage the children to develop good relationships with other children and adults and to show respect for each other. We encourage and support independence, especially with personal hygiene, which develops confidence and self-esteem.
